Angel Craft

This adorable craft from Catholic Icing was supposed to be part of the failed angels RE unit.  Even though there is not going to be a full unit, the craft was still a lot of fun.  What kid doesn’t love finger paint and what mom doesn’t like a handprint craft, right? Material used were: Construction paper Yarn Finger Paint Glue Markers I like to set up the crafts during nap/quiet time and have them ready to go for the afternoon. 7 Days of Creation Craft

7 Days of Creation Craft After trying a classical method of teaching religious education (RE) and having that fail miserably, I have decided to change things up a bit.  Alex was just not remembering the Bible story after having heard it one time the day before, and I found myself needing to supplement with a lot of activities.  I realized that what we are doing has morphed into a unit study.  Lots more planning for me, but at least I get to share some awesome RE projects with you!
